About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and maintain the PCB component libraries used in electronic product development, ensuring accurate symbols, footprints, and data consistency across all ECAD design tools and projects.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the PCB component library (symbols, footprints, and 3D models) in the ECAD system.
- Ensure library quality, consistency, and compliance with company design standards and industry guidelines.
- Create and validate new Schematic symbols and PCB footprint based on datasheets and supplier information.
- Support PCB design teams by providing accurate library parts and resolving library-related issues.
- Maintain naming conventions, documentation, and change control for all library elements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering with min 3+ Years exp
- Strong knowledge of PCB design and ECAD library management.
- Understanding of electronic components, packages, and datasheets.
- Experience with ECAD tools (Siemens Xpedition and EDM).
- Knowledge of PCB design standards and best practices.
