About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understanding of Product drawing, Develop Detailed PFD (Process Flow Diagram),PFMEA, Control Plan and Work instructions.
- Capacity enhancement.
- Couple / Decouple operations for maximum VA CNC Programming for Lathe, Vertical machining centre, Horizontal machining centre.
- Cutting tool selection New fixture development, validation and Prove out in line.
- New Machine selection Solving of perineal Quality issues in ongoing machining lines.
- Proving of Machining process capability (Cp,Cpk,Pp,Ppk) Implementing innovation in machining process.
- Establish Lean Equipment Specification.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 6+ years hands-on experience in Machining process planning engineering, new product development.
- Must be familiar CNC Lathe, Horizontal machining, Vertical machining, Grinding and other special purpose machines.
- Must have knowledge on understanding of fixture drawings, GDT, Basics of Hydraulic and pneumatic elements.
- Must possess implementation knowledge on innovation / new initiatives in Machine, Tool, Gauges Jigs and Fixtures.
- Capacity enhancement, De-bottlenecking, Re-engineering, Low Cost Automation.
- Must be familiar with design and implementation of material handling and internal logistics.
