About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure smooth line feeding aligned with production plans, maintaining FIFO and effective storage control.
  • Prevent line stoppages by monitoring material availability and coordinating with production and SCM teams.
  • Plan, issue, and track materials for job work via SAP/ERP, ensuring timely dispatch, receipt, and challan closure.
  • Maintain accurate job work inventory through regular reconciliation of physical and system stock.
  • Oversee daily scrap verification, segregation, and compliant handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Coordinate disposal activities, logistics, and documentation while ensuring statutory and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain accurate inward, inventory, and dispatch documentation as per process requirements.
  • Ensure timely dispatches, track vehicle movement, and provide updates to stakeholders until delivery completion.
  • Conduct cycle counts and annual inventories with proper labeling, scanning, and stock reconciliation.
  • Analyze variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions for effective inventory control.
  • Support internal and external audits (IATF, EHS, OHSAS, MSES, customer audits).
  • Ensure adherence to operational, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
  • Must have 6-10 Years of Experience in Logistics, specifically in Dispatch.
  • Knowledge of ERP system (Microsoft NAV will be Added advantage)
  • Well versed with Manpower management for smooth operation of dispatches.
  • Well Conversant with MS office, word, Power point and effectively communicate with cross functional teams.
  • Ready to work in shifts and capable to Handle the team of contractual manpower in 2nd shift.
