About the role

  • Define and evolve the product vision and strategy, aligned with the marketplace's business objectives
  • Create, prioritize and maintain the product backlog
  • Lead discovery with users (mechanics, repair shops, distributors, retailers) to understand pain points, identify opportunities and validate hypotheses
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, journeys and detailed user stories
  • Work closely with engineering, UX, business and data teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions
  • Monitor product KPIs and propose improvements
  • Run agile rituals (planning, review, refinement), ensuring cadence and quality of deliveries
  • Be the voice of the customer in internal decisions
  • Identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency and friction reduction across the buying and selling journey

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Systems, Economics or related fields
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager for digital products, preferably in marketplaces, e‑commerce or B2B platforms
  • Prior experience with UI/UX is desirable, especially collaborating with design teams to define flows, prototypes and validations
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with metrics, dashboards and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication and the ability to translate complex problems into clear, actionable solutions
  • Knowledge of agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and a good working relationship with technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently while maintaining alignment and prioritization
  • User-focused mindset, strong ownership and a focus on delivering value
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket is a plus (not required)
