About the role
- Coordinate technical solutions related to Assembly Quality Processes
- Act as a first responder to quality issues in production
- Promote and ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
- Monitor manufacturing processes and assess product quality
- Develop and maintain documents and procedures related to quality standards
- Collaborate with Customer Quality Engineer, Product and Manufacturing Engineering personnel
- Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities
- Assure Control Plans are available and updated throughout the life of the part
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 8-10+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Experience with directing the work of others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge in problem-solving methodology and techniques
- 4+ years of experience in a quality related role
- Experience in a leader/managerial position
- Expert level in Transmission assembly and/or high-volume assembly in automotive environment
- Experience of problem-solving methodologies
