About the role
- Oversee the procurement activities associated with specific corporate programs or projects
- Ensure compliance with timelines, budgetary constraints, and technical specifications
- Support the Commodity team in identifying sourcing options
- Maintain communication with internal departments
- Work with the Engineering Department and suppliers to assess new products
- Manage non-conformities from both an economic and production standpoint
- Support the Commodity and SQE teams in evaluating new suppliers
- Assess issues related to specific commodities at plant level
Requirements
- Degree in technical, economic, or management-related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Product knowledge and general knowledge of supply chain processes
- Negotiation skills and ability to build trust-based relationships with suppliers
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office suite
- Ability to analyze data and market trends
- Proficiency in English and fluent in Italian
- Willingness to travel
