About the role
- Handle GL and FA activities including reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, inter-company balancing, FA depreciation, capitalization, CIP reconciliation, and month-end closings
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
- Ensure policies and procedures are updated and maintain excellent customer service for ZF operating units and corporate finance
- Support the preparation of budgets and review budget proposals
- Prepare analysis and explanation of budget variances
- Review profit and loss and balance sheet statements accounts to support operational efficiencies and budget achievement
- Track and report capital and asset investment programs
- Lead and monitor business initiatives for cost improvement
- Prepare and present financial reporting packages to Senior Management
Requirements
- Accounting or Finance Degree and 5+ years Finance, GL and FA experience
- 80-90% Bilingual English/Spanish
- A proactive approach with a dedication to teamwork
- Strong analytical and problem solving
- Outstanding customer service and continuous improvement
- Very Good computer skills using MS Office
- Knowledge in SAP/QAD systems will be a plus
- MX and US GAAP knowledge
- Strong Experience in Internal Controls
- High legal and ethical standards.
