About the role

  • Discuss and identify the EMC requirement with customer, collect/define EMC requirement for products.
  • Break down original EMC requirements and release to subsystem and subcomponent.
  • Develop and validate EMC design.
  • Reviewing HW/ME design and propose solutions to reduce EMC risk.
  • Analyze and mitigate EMC risk for new design/change.
  • Plan, organize and lead EMC test for system verification/validation, support the validation of subsystem.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of EMC design principle and test method for automotive electronics.
  • Experience in using a network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, HF impedance analyzer, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience in general EMC design and process including EMC filter, grounding, shielding, etc.
  • Good knowledge of EMC standard of automotive electronics and vehicle (e.g., CISPR 25/ECE R10/ISO 11452/ISO 7637/ISO 10605/GB 34660/18387).
  • Basic knowledge of LV/HV power circuit, High-speed digital and analog circuit in automotive electronics.
  • Experience in analysis of electromagnetic interference and finding the root cause of EMC problems.
  • Experience using EMC simulation tools such as Ansys electronics desktop (HFSS/Q3D/Maxwell/SIwave), CST, LTspice, MATLAB, etc.
