About the role
- Ensure supplier compliance with certification requirements such as CQI, IATF, and ISO through system checks and follow‑up meetings.
- Manage the full PPAP process, including creation, tracking, and closure in SupplyOn, ensuring annual revalidations.
- Monitor and update inspection matrices (RPNs, SKIP LOT) and ensure accuracy of controlled‑inventory areas such as Sorting, Quarantine, and MRRFIN.
- Track supplier performance monthly and initiate escalation processes (DSAM) when suppliers fail to meet ZF requirements.
- Lead cost‑recovery activities for supplier‑related non‑quality issues, coordinating MRRs, financial debits, and material disposition.
- Manage internal and external claims: non‑conformance confirmation, containment, 8D follow‑up, and closure in SupplyOn.
- Support internal and external audits by updating procedures, providing required documentation, and addressing findings on time.
- Participate in plant‑assigned projects related to costs, improvements, material flow, or other operational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supplier quality or similar roles, desired 6 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, customer‑specific requirements, process‑based thinking, and risk‑based methodologies.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Experience working with quality systems: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, C‑TPAT, OEA, and customer standards.
- Skilled in problem‑solving methodologies (8D, root‑cause analysis) and PPAP processes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage supplier interactions effectively.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and follow‑through skills to ensure compliance and system effectiveness.
