About the role
- Provide technical support to production lines, resolving electronic and automation-related failures.
- Attend and diagnose ANDON system alerts, including sequence debugging, test equipment performance, and HMI/PLC-based devices.
- Perform root-cause analysis for issues impacting line availability (3x5, changeover, downtime).
- Implement process improvements and engineering changes to assembly and inspection processes.
- Develop and modify programs for PLCs, HMIs, inspection devices, and electrical integration solutions.
- Back up programs and equipment configurations to ensure proper storage and disaster-recovery readiness.
- Support new product launches and engineering changes, including review of programming for new production lines.
- Provide technical feedback to the AME team on automation functionality and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Automation, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Controls Engineering.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley), HMI, electrical integration, test systems, and automation troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Experience supporting production environments in high-volume manufacturing.
- Conversational English level.
- High commitment, decision-making agility, and availability for flexible schedules.
- Compliance with standards for Quality (IATF), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Safety (ISO 45001), and security frameworks (C-TPAT, OEA).
