About the role

  • Ensure the quality of our customer-facing products
  • Creation of automation test suites for web and mobile applications as well as for data pipelines and execute to validate software functionality and performance
  • Review test coverage of developer-driven automation testing
  • Tracking and escalation of issues
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering to ensure features meet the expected quality, both in definition and delivery
  • Create detailed test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure test cases cover all aspects of the application, including functionality, performance, security, and usability.
  • Identify test scenarios for both positive and negative testing
  • Perform manual testing when required

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in similar role.
  • Deep & proven experience in testing throughout the SDLC, knowledge of test plan creation and execution including respective management tools.
  • Familiar with cloud concepts and technologies, comfortable working with databases and querying data
  • Ability to develop automated test suits using frameworks (e.g. playwright or similar)
  • Ability to understand business objectives and customer requirements to properly evaluate the overall quality of the software application
  • Familiarity with testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Postman or similar) as well as with Jira/Confluence, Gitlab
  • Experienced in working in agile environments (Scrum)
  • Growth mindset combined with curiosity and solution orientation and strong drive to deliver
  • Very good communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a bonus.
