About the role
- Supervise the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely records in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure full compliance with internal controls related to Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
- Lead and/or manage internal and external audits, addressing findings immediately.
- Keep accounting policies and procedures up to date, ensuring operational compliance.
- Prepare financial and operational reports with comparative analysis (actual vs. budget, month vs. month, etc.) and executive recommendations.
- Support in additional functions, such as preparation of INEGI reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced English (80%).
- 5 years of experience in Finance (A/R, Fixed Assets), Controllership (Internal Controls, SOX), and General Accounting (IFRS, monthly and annual closings) within the manufacturing industry, preferably automotive.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP (preferred), Oracle, JD Edwards.
- Professional ethics and strong compliance focus.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, proactive, results-focused, with leadership and teamwork skills.
