About the role
- Preparation of financial statements: Timely preparation of monthly financial statements under IFRS and annual financial statements under IFRS, HGB and tax accounting
- Planning and forecasting: Preparation of operational planning and forecasts
- Responsibility for complex transactions and their recording: Preparation and support for postings in the general ledger
- Provision of tax calculations and point of contact for questions regarding VAT and foreign input tax
- Contact person for auditors and Internal Audit
- Analysis and reporting: Preparation of business analyses and commentary on monthly and annual financial statements
- Process management and projects: Implementation and optimization of processes and active participation in finance-related projects
Requirements
- Degree in economics, finance or accounting with a focus on financial accounting, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS/HGB/tax accounting (StB) as well as knowledge of cost accounting and related systems
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
- Good PC skills in MS Office, Analysis tools, SAP SEM-BCS and SAP S/4HANA
- Flexibility, assertiveness, resilience, strong interpersonal skills and a confident, friendly manner
