About the role
- Daily routine checking on production line and support equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairing work when machine breakdown.
- Setup facility/production equipment maintenance program, assist machine relocation and installation.
- Provide repair and maintenance for the line equipment and facility related services, perform general periodic maintenance.
- Paper work on daily maintenance works.
- Determine requirements for process equipment, develop PM and TPM instructions and train PM technicians and TPM operators.
- Identify spare part/tooling, create and update spare part list.
- Report health, safety and environmental accidents/incidents immediately to the supervisor of the affected area.
- Monitor significant health, safety and environmental aspects of their work activities and the benefits of improved personal performance.
- Understand the effect on the health, safety and environment of departing from specified operating procedures (work practices) and the potential legal consequences to the employee and the company.
- Weekly/Monthly report of machine downtime analysis and corrective action implement tracking.
- Response for ME EHS related work,especially for machine guarding, contractor management, MWF,risk assessment and LOTO procedure, also for ME incident & near miss report.
Requirements
- Can speak English, and good at reading
- Able to avoid damage to capital equipment, tools, or production line product.
- Proficiency in the safe use of basic machine shop equipment and manually handle power tools.
- Understand process methods of operation and maintenance.
- Must understand critical characteristics of component, process and equipment.
- Proficient ability on understand and use Electronic, Electro-Mechanical and Pneumatic schematics or mechanical drawings to resolve various performance deficiencies.
- Proficient Understanding of mechanics, pneumatics, and electrically controlled machinery as used in an automated production environment.
- Ability to utilize critical thinking skills as applied to root-cause troubleshooting and analysis.
- Ability to update and maintain machine reference documents and technical procedures is desired.
- SIEMENS/AB PLC capability is required.
- Knowledge of quality standards (IATF16949).
- Familiar with automotive quality Management tools such as SPC,MSA, FMEA ...
