About the role
- Work and cooperate with an international project team and other R&D and testing locations of ZF worldwide.
- Develop a wide range of chassis components; suspension ball joints, tie rods, stabilizer links, control arms, rubber bushings.
- Preparation/organization of detailed design studies, product specifications/drawings, simulation and calculation.
- Project Management with the customer specific APQP needs.
- Create test specifications.
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines with experience in 3D design, preferably with CATIA V5.
- Experience, preferably with designing chassis components, steering, braking, chassis or engine system and other relevant mechanical and hydraulic applications in automotive industry.
- Basic knowledge of design requirements for products made of steel, aluminum, rubber materials, manufacturing and assembling technologies with a strong understanding of mechanical or automotive engineering.
- Well structured, organized, efficient, accurate working method, teamplayer and communication skills in fluent English (written & spoken) & German is a plus.
- No restriction for travelling & living abroad and also no restriction for military service.
