About the role
- Drive operational excellence as the Plant Manager III, leading all aspects of plant performance in cost, quality, delivery, safety, and profitability.
- Oversee key functional areas—production, materials management, maintenance, engineering, quality, and EHS—to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and problem-solving.
- Manage the profitability of plant operations and ensure achievement of financial targets (P&L responsibility).
- Direct plant activities to optimize cost, service, quality and delivery performance.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee assembly and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with ZF Quality Management System (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Manage ITAR and other regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Prepare and manage budgets, capital expenditure plans and operational forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements, and guarantee product quality and customer satisfaction through robust quality systems.
- Lead problem-solving efforts for production and quality issues using structured methodologies (8D, PDCA).
Requirements
- BS in Engineering, Manufacturing or related technical field.
- 8 to 10 years increasing management responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven plant management experience
- Proven leadership in plant operations, including finance, engineering, quality and supply chain.
- Experience in Project Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Coaching and Mentoring Skills.
- Results, process and problem-solving oriented.
