About the role

  • Act as the Technical Lead within cross-functional Squads.
  • Define the architecture, approach, and data flow for new solutions.
  • 'Own' the production pipeline.
  • Champion the use of Generative AI tools to supercharge the team's velocity.
  • Enforce a 'Clean Code' culture using Python.
  • Constantly evaluate new libraries, AI assistants, and DevTools.
  • Directly lead, mentor, and grow a team of 2-4 Data Engineers/DevOps specialists.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science or MLOps.
  • Expert proficiency in Python (OOP, library building, package management) and data science.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure architecture.
  • Strong background in MLops, CI/CD, containerization, and agile software delivery.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical talent.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish a plus.
