About the role
- Lead the Logistics department, including sales, material planning, production control and logistics planning, as well as the leadership, motivation and development of subordinate staff
- Fulfill customer requirements regarding delivery quantities, delivery dates and communication
- Continuously optimize logistics processes from the customer through production to suppliers to reduce inventories and logistics costs
- Manage and supervise the subcontractor LemLog in the areas of warehouse management, line feeding and transport to the external warehouse
- Work in partnership with national and international customers and suppliers as well as internal ZF teams, and further develop the logistics system using ZFPS methods such as milkrun, supermarkets and the use of FTS
Requirements
- Completed technical or business degree, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Business administration expertise, cross-functional thinking and cost-conscious approach
- Leadership personality with strong negotiation skills, communication and assertiveness, organizational and planning competence, and a goal-oriented working style
- High resilience, willingness to perform and decisiveness, as well as an independent and pragmatic way of working
- Experience with ZF production systems and moderation/co-moderation of related workshops, including enforcing and monitoring measures
- Good MS Office and SAP R/3 (MM, PP, CO) skills
- Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
