About the role
- Responsible to overseeing the inventory management process, defining strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec materials and reduce aging material.
- Authorize in maintaining warehousing, receiving and distribution operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Authorize in developing and maintaining logistic operation for Export and Import to ensure business needs are met, negotiate shipping forwarder cost.
- Ensure the company is in compliance with laws and regulation by Government and Local Authority regarding Warehousing, Receiving, Distribution, Export and Import activities.
- Ensure that the Quality and HSE Management Systems in accordance to the ISO 90001 and ISO 14001 standards respectively are adhered to and implemented at all time.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Materials Management and Warehouse operations management (WMS)
- Experience in supporting Production of High Mix Low Volume working environment.
- Knowledge of raw materials, inventory management, shipping cost and custom requirements
- Multi-tasks - Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
- Management of Personnel Resources -- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
