Account Manager II
ZeusAccount Manager II responsible for driving revenue growth in industrial market verticals. Implementing account plans and understanding customer needs to maximize profitability for Zeus.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Industrial Account Manager is responsible for successful execution of strategic initiatives by actively seeking out new business opportunities, generating leads, directing end-use customers to distribution channel partners, and converting prospects into loyal clients within industrial market verticals to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability in support of the Zeus strategic plan.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customer’s business including, but not limited to, key stakeholders, product offerings, markets served, competitive positioning, outsourcing/insourcing activity, and strategic business planning initiatives.
- Implement and align account plans that aim to support the customer’s strategic objectives and/or the distribution channel partner’s strategic initiatives while establishing a position of strength for Zeus as a preferred supplier and valued partner.
- Perform a wide array of customer service and account management functions and exercise considerable discretion under the general supervision of upper management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; experience in lieu of education.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B industrial account management, distribution channel management, sales, or a customer service role.
- Demonstrated experience in a proactive selling role.
- Knowledge of plastics technology or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Ability to successfully work in a team environment and independently.
- Proficiency in CRM applications, PRM applications and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address customer issues promptly.
- Good organizational skills.
- Travel 10-25%.
