Key responsibilities & impact

Define project scope, work breakdown structure, and schedules
Lead project status and working meetings
Prepare and distribute progress reports
Manage risks, dependencies, issues, and project deviations
Perform delivery planning for assigned projects
Develop team members, remove roadblocks, and mentor teams
Support the Product Owner with customer expectations, stakeholder communications, and project governance
Define and manage project management processes and champion Agile best-practice improvements
Promote team empowerment, engagement, meaningful contribution, and sustainable delivery quality
Lead fact-gathering sessions covering current and future-state processes and risks
Manage project documentation and capture stakeholder requirements
Lead cross-functional meetings, report status, and drive issues to resolution
Present portfolio initiative updates and own issue resolution
Analyze and implement process and program improvements
Manage projects for on-budget delivery
Manage escalations and drive timely project launches
Manage client pod delivery programs and communicate status, issues, and risks
Maintain change requests, issue logs, risk mitigation plans, escalations, decision tracking, and postmortems
Ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodologies and minimize project risks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid understanding of software development life cycle models
Expert knowledge of Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
Ability to blend Agile and traditional approaches to fit project and business environments
Experience or understanding of CRM, Email, SMS, and CDP
Experience with enterprise-level PPM software such as Jira, Grenhopper, Rally, VersionOne, and Resource Guru
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Office tools, and dashboard tools
Operations and technical project delivery experience with a database agency or technology company
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex issues into understandable terms
Ability to manage multiple projects across various lifecycle stages
Experience leading interdisciplinary teams through short- and long-duration projects
Demonstrated experience developing and rolling out business and operational processes
Ability to interface with cross-functional team members and senior management
Ability to set expectations for scope, timeline, and deliverable quality
Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail and broad perspective
BA or BS or equivalent experience required
Excellent oral and written communication skills with business and IT stakeholders at all levels
