About the role
- The SVP will lead Zeta Global’s growth in the political, advocacy, and public affairs markets. This senior leader will be responsible for shaping go-to-market strategy, developing high-impact client relationships, and driving significant revenue growth within a high-stakes, fast-moving sector. The role requires a proven track record in data driven paid media solutions, sales leadership, deep knowledge of political and advocacy ecosystems, and the ability to inspire and lead a top-performing team.
- Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute Zeta’s Political & Advocacy sector sales strategy to exceed paid media revenue growth objectives.
- Revenue Growth: Drive significant new business and upsell opportunities within political campaigns, advocacy organizations, public affairs firms, and related verticals.
- Relationship Development: Build and maintain influential relationships with senior decision-makers in political campaigns, advocacy groups, and aligned agencies.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Market Development: Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, partnerships, and technologies that can expand Zeta’s impact in the political and advocacy space.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, data science, and operations teams to ensure tailored solutions and seamless client delivery.
- Brand Representation: Represent Zeta at high-profile industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in media activation sales or business development, with a significant portion focused on political, advocacy, or public affairs sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets.
- Deep network of senior relationships across political campaigns, advocacy groups, trade associations, and related entities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing large, high-performing teams in complex sales environments.
- Strong understanding of data-driven marketing, digital media, and martech/adtech solutions.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment with multiple competing priorities.
