About the role
- Own and evolve our Agentic & Vertical Apps experiences in Figma
- Work as a core triad partner with Product Management and Engineering to define strategy, scope, and execution
- Inform and evolve Model Context Protocol (MCP) patterns, AI interaction models, and agent behaviors
- Lead by example through strong visual design, interaction design, motion, and prototyping
- Act as a force multiplier for the design team by mentoring designers, reviewing work, and challenging assumptions.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of product design experience, with meaningful time spent on complex platforms, systems, or tools (B2B, SaaS, or AI-driven products strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading foundational or platform-level design work that scales across teams, products, or workflows
- Hands-on experience designing and shipping AI-powered features, workflows, or systems
- Proven track record of partnering closely with Product and Engineering in fast-paced environments
- Experience mentoring designers, influencing standards, and shaping how design work scales—without needing formal management responsibility.
