About the role
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers and participate in the sales process from discovery to closing deals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations showcasing product features and value propositions.
- Understand customer requirements and business challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers during the pre-sales phase.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay updated on product releases.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate solution feasibility.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must
- Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, preferably in the information security industry.
- Strong technical background
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed
