About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the growth of the Zero Motorcycles brand throughout the Northeastern US and Eastern Canada
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Zero Motorcycles and dealerships in the assigned region
- Work closely with Sales, Dealer Development, Customer Experience, and Dealer Marketing colleagues to accomplish regional objectives
- Partner with dealership staff to achieve wholesale and retail sales goals
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key dealership staff through on-site visits, communication, responsiveness, and follow-through
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and dealership needs
- Implement sales campaigns and promotions within dealerships
- Identify, evaluate, and recruit new dealers in designated markets
- Conduct sales and product training with dealership staff
- Ensure Zero leads are promptly and appropriately responded to by dealership staff
- Plan and conduct regional and dealership sales events, demonstrations, and demo rides
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reports
- Monitor and enforce dealer compliance with policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive travel required, including up to three or four nights per week during certain times of year and occasional weekend travel
- Valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement
- Good driving record
- Valid passport
- Knowledge of powersports dealerships and thorough understanding of sales processes
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Prior experience working in the powersports industry and/or a dealership strongly preferred
- Expertise with Zero Motorcycles products and technology, or willingness to learn through company training
- Powersports industry knowledge and insight
- Proven ability to negotiate and close sales
- Ability to thrive amid challenges and manage multiple tasks on time
- Ability to overcome obstacles, solve problems, and achieve goals
- Outgoing personality with positive outlook and can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Openness to new ideas and adaptability to changing circumstances or information
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night
- Must be authorized to work for any US company without current or future sponsorship
- Ability to load and unload motorcycles from a van without assistance
- Ability to set up and take down exhibit materials and host demo rides
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors when necessary
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
