Constantly improving and shipping new software
Collaborating and supporting your peers to create a team environment and alignment to our purpose
Being passionate about processes for writing, reviewing and thinking about scalable, secure, accessible and optimised code
Collaborating with dedicated Security, Platform and Incident Management teams to support a platform that is mission-critical to our customers, in a heavily regulated industry
Providing technical insight to the customer support and onboarding teams
Participating in our on-call rotation supporting mission-critical systems
Embracing the way we work with AI: play a hands-on role in integrating AI into how we work – embracing the setup, documentation, and cross-team alignment of AI tools so our processes are scalable, structured, efficient and built to last beyond any one person.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in a back-end language and API development. Ruby is our core stack and therefore preferred, though not essential.
Strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn matter more to us.
Some experience with front-end development is a bonus.
Experience in building solutions using cloud-based technologies.
Experience applying strong engineering practices such as test-driven development and continuous delivery, ideally within event-driven systems, microservice architectures and data streaming platforms.
Able to be effective in a collaborative team environment.
Someone who looks at challenging situations through a solutions-focused lens.
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and agile environment.
