About the role
- Supports the successful adoption of ZEON elastomers in automotive applications.
- Collaborates across all tiers of the automotive supply chain, OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Combines technical expertise with cross-functional coordination.
- Guides product development, resolves customer issues, and aligns solutions with market needs.
- Contributes to industry insights through presentations and research.
- Manages projects from concept to launch and maintains compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Customer facing collaboration with all levels of supply chain.
- Develops and presents technical literature for conferences and publication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive business development or product engineering.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Technical knowledge in the use of elastomers (rubber) in automotive applications as well as basic understanding of rubber compounding and manufacturing processes.
