About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for independently managing and developing a defined sales territory and/or pharmacy customer portfolio in Germany
- Increase sales and volume through proactive, predominantly telephone-based customer outreach with a focus on the prescription generics portfolio
- Analyze and assess customer needs and derive targeted sales approaches
- Independently build, maintain and further develop customer relationships within the assigned customer base through proactive account management
- Initiate and implement targeted sales activities to fully exploit potential and achieve defined objectives
- Continuous market monitoring and identification of opportunities and risks within the assigned territory or customer portfolio
- Close collaboration with the Inside Sales team, Customer Service and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure optimal customer support
- Capture and maintain customer data and provide structured documentation of customer contacts in the designated systems
- Confident use of various communication channels (telephone, video, webinars, email, chat, co-browsing, etc.) to ensure high-quality customer communication
- Work based on defined KPIs and ensure their achievement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial or sales-related vocational training
- At least 2 years of professional experience in sales, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry and/or in inside sales or telephone sales
- Strong practical knowledge of the stages of a sales conversation, particularly in needs analysis
- Confident use of SAP, CRM systems and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, enjoyment of telephone-based customer contact and a passion for sales
- Goal-oriented and independent working style, flexibility and high self-motivation
- German language skills at native level, both written and spoken
- Certified pharmaceutical representative (according to § 75 AMG) — advantageous
