About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the business development growth strategy and pipeline across the UK temporary power market
- Identify new use cases and commercial opportunities for mobile battery solutions
- Engage with existing clients and target sectors to develop relationships and generate new business
- Develop technical and commercial customer proposals and bids with internal teams
- Support customer accounts and relationship building through client pitches, meetings and site visits
- Develop and maintain CRM processes and account information
- Enable energy reporting and analysis for temporary power projects
- Build understanding of commercial structures and financial approach to inform sales strategy
- Facilitate internal investment and strategy discussions with market insight
- Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering and analytics teams
- Execute deal closure, including contract execution and handover to finance
- Contribute to health, safety, wellbeing and sustainability practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years demonstrable experience in industry closing deals and contracts
- Passion for the clean energy sector and commercially minded problem-solving
- Interest in temporary power and understanding of construction and industrial applications
- University degree, ideally in a STEM, commercial or similarly analytical discipline
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
- Confidence in client-facing situations
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn information into useful insight
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, high-pressure and entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work from the London HQ two days a week
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required
