Business Development Rep

• Business Development of Zenobe’s EV, battery and charging solutions including design and build, lease finance products and services
• Drive new business forward working cross functionally with Corporate Finance, Legal, Technical Sales, and Delivery teams
• Manage executed client relationships to generate further income and land customer mandates for Zenobē’s lease finance propositions
• Prepare client presentations, transaction proposals, term sheets and investment committee papers and present to customers and Senior Internal stakeholders
• Manage commercial negotiations and execute new contracts/transactions
• Complete commercial analysis ahead of client propositions to ensure commercial viability
• Develop Zenobē’s commercial, financing and service propositions fit for the German market & customers
• Implement transaction processes including risk control mechanisms
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and sales focus/target customer base in region
• Train and mentor junior members of the team, developing their modelling and financial skills

Director of Business Development – Electric Buses

Procurement

• The Head of Global Energy Storage procurement will work our project development and delivery teams in the UK, US, ANZ (other regions to come) to build out a world class supply chain of battery storage integrators.
• A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY: Reporting to the director of procurement and contracts - network infrastructure
• Setting the procurement category strategy globally for battery energy storage supply chain
• Representing Zenobe globally across its most critical supply chain of battery storage integrators and acting as supplier relationship owner in this category
• Owning global volume or framework supply deals for battery storage
• Ensuring Zenobe is at the forefront of latest supplier technology developments in battery energy storage
• Managing a small team of battery energy storage experts
• Working with project teams and the rest of the procurement team to ensure the battery supply chain delivers key project objectives of cost, time, quality
• Interface to route to market and trading teams ensuring supplier commercial agreements align well with trading models and requirements
• Interface to project development teams providing expertise of commercial structures achievable with battery energy storage integrator suppliers
• Build best in class commercial arrangements and contract templates for battery energy storage suppliers
• Ensure project supply chain contracts are negotiated and contracted in line with timelines and project drivers around capex efficiency
• Member of the procurement and contracts leadership team – Network Infrastructure
• Work hand in hand with delivery to ensure all contractors across the delivery portfolio meet contractual performance obligations and delivery targets
• Leadership in mitigating commercial risk on construction projects
• Represent Zenobe at supply chain conferences and ensure we are a customer of choice for energy storage supply chain partners
• Providing senior level representation for Zenobe on claims or supplier contractual issues

Head of Global Energy Storage Procurement

Analyst

• The EV Fleet Analyst will work closely with our Commercial Analytics, Sales, Technical Solutions and Operations teams to successfully design and optimize EV fleet sites.
• Typical objectives include modelling EV fleets and depots for design specification and validation or for optimizing the charging of vehicles, i.e. best use of charger scheduling and grid power to minimize the charging cost for vehicle operators whilst optimizing the overall charging performance and maximizing opportunity for smart-charging and V2G services for additional revenue.
• Delivery of these capabilities cover hypothetical pre-sales modelling for charging feasibility studies through to charging strategy implementation of live sites
• Work with Business Development, Technical Solutions, and directly with customers to simulate initial electrification feasibility through to validating charging performance when signing off final electrical designs and component selection.
• Work with cross-functional teams to effectively optimize operations of EV fleets through simulation & analysis, optimizing charging performance.
• Work with the Business Development and Operations team(s) to provide in-depth modelling insights on fleet sites for both design-phase and live operational projects.
• Work with the Product Management and Engineering team to deploy simulation and analytics capabilities into automated pipelines linked with live data feedback and providing fleet performance insight or adapting future fleet strategies for continual improvement.
• Lead EV fleet simulation activities for all projects in the US and North America, supported by the rest of the global EV analytics team (UK-based).
• Feed back EV fleet simulation requirements to the analysts leading global toolset development.
• Lead US energy market research to allow commercial optimization of projects, feeding back tariff structures to the analysts leading toolset development.
• Continuously develop our analysis processes to increase efficiency and add value to all areas of the business.
