About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the successful implementation of the UK division’s flex power procurement portfolio and risk strategies
  • Maximise customer value within the framework parameters
  • Provide detailed monthly analytical position reports
  • Manage customer accounts end-to-end, including fixed accounts, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Issue daily market reports to relevant internal and external stakeholders, with a monthly roundup
  • Grow the UK power procurement portfolio by delivering sales and renewals targets
  • Support the wider EV Fleet team on power pricing, renewable solutions and related business development opportunities
  • Negotiate, prepare and deliver power pricing commercial offerings to senior EV fleet customer stakeholders
  • Work with the Commercial Analytics team to formulate pricing for Zenobē’s energy supply offering
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Power Pricing product offering
  • Handle power pricing contract execution with EV fleet customers
  • Support delivery of the power procurement offering in current and emerging international territories
  • Manage the power pricing customer portfolio, including contract monitoring, trading positions, query resolution, invoice validation and proactive customer engagement
  • Maintain positive relationships with energy suppliers and ensure competitive power pricing offerings
  • Maintain and improve existing processes and customer management tools
  • Integrate health, safety, wellbeing and sustainability principles into daily responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Good experience in a similar power procurement, account management or sales position
  • Specific experience in B2B power procurement within the Third-Party Intermediary or Retail Supplier sector
  • Experience structuring, negotiating, closing and executing fixed and flexible commodity contracts
  • Good understanding of UK energy markets and their drivers
  • Ability to work with and manipulate large data sets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • B2B client/customer-facing experience
  • Confident presenting style
  • Commercial focus and ability to contribute to new market opportunities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively internally and externally
  • Highly organised problem solver with a solution-focused approach and keen eye for detail
  • Accomplished Microsoft Excel user
  • Accomplished Microsoft PowerPoint user
  • Desirable: knowledge of the UK I&C Solar market, funded solutions and revenue streams
  • Desirable: knowledge/understanding of UK PPA and CPPA markets, structures and benefits
  • Desirable: understanding of UK carbon credit markets, revenues and routes to market
  • Desirable: knowledge or experience of international power markets
