About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Source and evaluate data center opportunities across the United States for AI infrastructure expansion
Build and maintain relationships with colocation providers, real estate owners, developers, utility companies, and infrastructure partners
Support procurement and commercial negotiations for data center capacity, including pricing, contract terms, and service agreements
Coordinate with engineering, deployment, finance, and operations teams to assess site feasibility
Assist with due diligence on power availability, facility readiness, connectivity, and operational requirements
Track market intelligence on data center availability, power capacity, pricing trends, and regional supply dynamics
Travel extensively throughout the U.S. to visit sites, attend industry meetings, and develop partner relationships
Help establish scalable sourcing processes as the company grows

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, data center operations, commercial real estate, infrastructure development, facilities management, or utility/power-related industries
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Willingness to travel frequently across the United States, up to 50–70%
Highly organized with strong project management skills
Preferred experience in data center procurement or capacity sourcing, colocation services, commercial real estate transactions, power infrastructure or utility coordination, site selection, contract negotiation, AI/HPC infrastructure, or cloud infrastructure ecosystem
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to solve new challenges
Resourceful, proactive, and willing to roll up sleeves
Ability to build relationships quickly with external partners
Ability to thrive in a startup environment where priorities evolve quickly
