About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Source and evaluate data center opportunities across the United States for AI infrastructure expansion
  • Build and maintain relationships with colocation providers, real estate owners, developers, utility companies, and infrastructure partners
  • Support procurement and commercial negotiations for data center capacity, including pricing, contract terms, and service agreements
  • Coordinate with engineering, deployment, finance, and operations teams to assess site feasibility
  • Assist with due diligence on power availability, facility readiness, connectivity, and operational requirements
  • Track market intelligence on data center availability, power capacity, pricing trends, and regional supply dynamics
  • Travel extensively throughout the U.S. to visit sites, attend industry meetings, and develop partner relationships
  • Help establish scalable sourcing processes as the company grows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, data center operations, commercial real estate, infrastructure development, facilities management, or utility/power-related industries
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the United States, up to 50–70%
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Preferred experience in data center procurement or capacity sourcing, colocation services, commercial real estate transactions, power infrastructure or utility coordination, site selection, contract negotiation, AI/HPC infrastructure, or cloud infrastructure ecosystem
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to solve new challenges
  • Resourceful, proactive, and willing to roll up sleeves
  • Ability to build relationships quickly with external partners
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment where priorities evolve quickly
