Requirements
What you’ll need- Cybersecurity is not a background, it is a requirement: a career built in security, with deep understanding of how enterprise security buyers think and how to build narratives for new categories.
- Has built a category in security from the ground up. Not inherited one, not supported one. Owned it.
- Multiple tours of duty in startup PMM. Has scaled product marketing functions at early and growth-stage companies and knows how to take a strong foundation further and faster.
- Deeply embedded in the security community: OWASP, MITRE, NIST, and CSA are not acronyms, they are communities this person actively participates in.
- Has extended a product narrative through partner ecosystems and knows how to operate across distributed, global teams.
- An exceptional writer and storyteller, translates complex technical concepts into sharp narratives that move markets and that PMM, Field, Growth, and Partners all build from.
- Commercially sharp with a clear point of view on how narrative connects to pipeline, revenue, and partner-led growth.
- Builds AI agents and marketing workflows, not just uses AI tools, scales output without scaling headcount.
- Moves with extreme velocity and earns influence through the quality of the work, not the org line.
- Moves with conviction, changes course without ego, and sets a standard for the team's work that they take personally.
- Self-driven, sees what needs to be done, and does it. Comfortable in board conversations, analyst briefings, and partner QBRs with something worth saying every time.
