About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, analyze, and evaluate department specific information technology systems, user needs, data and other insights from various sources.
- Determine user needs and requirements and recommend ways to improve systems.
- Validate through testing that the systems are designed and performing as specified.
- Serve as primary point of contact between users, management team and engineering/development staff.
- Analyze business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather and organize information on problems and procedures.
- Prepare research reports and advise on business or operational matters.
- Discuss data systems, business strategies, practices, or policies with managers.
- Lead system testing and compile UAT documentation.
- Document findings and prepare recommendations for new systems or procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 3+ years directly related, progressively responsible, business experience in subdiscipline required.
- Agile experience is required.
- P&C insurance experience is a plus.
- Entry level knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate options, resolve conflicts, and influence others on business topics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
