About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Onboarding new clients and converting existing client systems
- Enhancing automation utilization
- Reviewing and interpreting requirements for new client retirement plan implementations
- Attending implementation and conversion meetings
- Facilitating training for new and current employees
- Coordinating and overseeing the review and testing of all requirements
- Responsible for data validation during system conversions
- Reconciles and ties out all benefit payment data
- Facilitates the development/update of forms, letters, and application documents
- Provides recommendations and proposals to management for improving automation
- Supports management in research and resolution of complex functional and system issues
- Writes and distributes internal and external communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma and five years of experience in retirement plan administration
- Or, Bachelor’s degree in business related field and two years of experience working in retirement plan administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Proven attention to detail, follow-through skills and problem-solving skills
