About the role
- Analyze and manage healthcare repricing claim data with focus on Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial reimbursements
- Analyze and interact with data in SQL tables; utilize Excel for manipulation, analysis, and reporting
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present data findings (Tableau experience is a plus)
- Communicate results to internal and external stakeholders including sales and client-facing teams and clients
- Actively contribute innovative ideas and support ad hoc and time-sensitive projects
- Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to ZELIS standards regarding privacy
- Identify enhancements and process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis
- 1+ years in claim reimbursement methodologies (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial)
- Proficient in SQL (Select, Joins, CTE, Sub Queries)
- Strong Excel skills required
- Experience with Tableau is a bonus but not required
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Financial modeling and strong analytic skills
- Proficiency other Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
- Ability to manage projects simultaneously and achieve goals
- Strong initiative, self-directed and self-motivation
- Excellent follow through, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability with cross-functional teams
- Creative problem-solving skills
