About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance digital payment solutions across the ZEISS Group and its global entities
  • Translate business requirements into scalable payment concepts and drive their successful implementation and rollout internationally
  • Contribute to the development of ZEISS' global digital payments strategy and support the evolution of customer-centric payment ecosystems
  • Manage workstreams and sub-projects in international, cross-functional transformation and IT initiatives using agile methodologies
  • Collaborate closely with Business and Corporate Functions, Shared Service Centers, IT teams and external service providers as well as financial institutions
  • Support program leadership by preparing decision proposals, business analyses, and management presentations
  • Drive process optimization initiatives across Treasury, Accounting, and Finance-related payment processes
  • Ensure stable operation and support of implemented payment solutions in cooperation with global stakeholders
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and provide management reporting on project progress and operational performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Economics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience (typically 4–6 years) in digital payments, e-commerce, process excellence, ERP, fintech, digital business, treasury or related areas
  • Experience working in international business environments and managing stakeholders across different cultures and functions
  • Practical experience in agile project management and the delivery of complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills in international and interdisciplinary environments
  • Ability to successfully navigate change and manage resistance within transformation programs
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams without formal disciplinary responsibility
  • Highly structured, independent, and results-oriented working style
  • Strong implementation mindset combined with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Fluent English language skills; German language skills are considered a plus.
