Key responsibilities & impact

Drive and operationalize the company's inbound and outbound FOSS strategy
Provide actionable guidance on project-specific FOSS licensing and software architecture issues
Automate software composition analysis and FOSS compliance processes
Promote responsible use of FOSS through community events and publications
Deliver training and develop the FOSS enablement program
Lead initiatives to improve efficiency in working with FOSS
Build and maintain a network of internal and external experts in FOSS management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ideally 5+ years' experience in software engineering
3+ years focused on FOSS, information security, and software compliance in a regulated industry
Proven experience advocating for the use and value of FOSS
Strong understanding of the principles of Free Software and Open Source
Hands-on experience with common SCA tools such as ORT, Black Duck, ScanCode
Clear and effective communication across diverse groups, including management
Independent working style with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
