About the role

  • Process optimization & digitization: You optimize and digitize company-wide processes in product data management (PDM/PLM), in particular engineering change management as well as the management of technical documents and bills of materials (BOMs), etc.
  • Business & IT integration: Together with the business units you develop business specifications and support the technical implementation in SAP and Siemens Teamcenter to ensure seamless alignment of business and IT requirements.
  • System landscape: You drive the continuous improvement of our IT systems and product data standards and ensure their sustainable adoption.
  • Stakeholder management: As Process Owner and primary contact for the business areas, you capture requirements, formulate user stories and are responsible for backlog management.
  • Process harmonization: You design company-wide harmonized processes and define standards that promote efficiency and synergies.
  • Collaboration: In close cooperation with the business areas, Corporate IT and ZEISS Digital Partners, you ensure the successful technical implementation in our target systems SAP and Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Expert committees: You represent the company in standardization committees and contribute your expertise to the development of technical standards.
  • Training facilitation: Conduct trainings and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and the adoption of new processes and systems.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience leading complex projects, ideally in an international environment
  • Confident application of agile methods (e.g., SCRUM); certification is desirable
  • Ideally, several years of professional experience in change management as well as in master product data and technical product documentation with SAP-PLM and knowledge of S/4HANA and Siemens Teamcenter
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and coordination abilities, and confidence in dealing with complex stakeholder structures
  • Customer- and service-oriented working style with high quality standards and a pragmatic approach to solutions
  • Experience in professional workshop facilitation and in preparing reports, presentations and decision papers for management
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
