About the role
- Lead IT security projects and motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives on time and efficiently
- Plan, lead and control IT security projects (traditional, hybrid & agile) in accordance with the IT project management framework
- Own projects from initiation through successful implementation in collaboration with IT specialist departments, external providers and business units
- Provide technical leadership to highly motivated project teams and collaborate across locations with diverse stakeholders
- Actively manage project risks and required adjustments (including budget, scope and timeline)
- As part of project controlling and reporting, be responsible for progress measurement and adherence to schedule, budget and scope targets, perform reporting and information management, and prepare risk/cost/benefit analyses and forecasts
- Consolidate all project timelines, costs and capacities and coordinate cross-project resource allocation
- Monitor project KPIs and prepare and visualize complex IT topics in a manner appropriate to the target audience.
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security or Information Security, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Relevant professional experience in both agile and traditional IT program and project management
- Solid experience as an IT security project manager across multiple IT projects, with responsibility for planning, leading, executing and successfully transitioning projects into operational support
- Deep IT security knowledge in areas such as cybersecurity, security management and security solutions
- Ideally extensive project management knowledge and certifications (Scrum, IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2 or similar)
- High level of initiative (hands-on mentality) and a highly structured, goal-oriented working style
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent methodological skills and broad knowledge of (agile) tools and platforms (ServiceNow, Microsoft Office, SAP)
- Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
