About the role
- Ensure the development and evolution of Microsoft Azure big data platform
- Build cloud solutions and services using big data technologies
- Develop algorithms and software tools for analyzing unstructured device data
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists, product development, and country organizations
- Extract and prepare data, apply solid analyses combined with vivid visualizations
- Explain insights and findings in an audience-oriented way
- Work in various and versatile projects in parallel and continuously improve your skills
Requirements
- A university degree, preferably in computer science, natural sciences, or engineering
- 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineering, Data Science, or Data Analyst role
- Demonstrated practice in Python, SQL, Bash Scripting
- Profound understanding of version control
- Strong experience in working with Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Ability to effectively explain relevant concepts and technologies
- Strong passion in analyzing business needs together with various stakeholders
- Expert know-how in relevant ETL (e.g. Azure Synapse) and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Adept knowledge in big data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Functions or AWS Lambda)
- Very good communication skills in English (spoken and written) and in German (good spoken and written)
