About the role
- Implement the requirements from our plants as extensions to SAP Digital Manufacturing
- Translate functional requirements into a technical solution design
- Estimate effort and risks
- Actively participate in solution discussions within the MES core team as well as with SAP and other development partners
- Develop MES functionalities based on agreed roadmap items
- Perform configuration adjustments
- Shape the future solution through contributions to architecture design / UI design / integration design and test design
- Identify weaknesses related to performance and stability and independently implement necessary adjustments
- Handle incidents, analyze problems, and resolve them, including documentation
Requirements
- A degree or vocational qualification in computer science or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the development/configuration of MES solutions in a manufacturing company (SAP Digital Manufacturing preferred)
- Factory control experience closely linked to service delivery
- Enjoy active communication with internal and external partners
- Team player
- Strong ability to work independently
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
