About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collect, clean, consolidate and analyze large datasets from multiple internal and external sources
Perform database inquiries, compile and analyze data, identify trends, and furnish statistical analyses and reports on service delivery
Present findings in clear, concise formats tailored to different audiences
Create and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations using Power BI and other Microsoft tools to support decision-making
Automate reporting process to improve efficiency and accuracy
Perform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and support leadership requests
Establish procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient collection and entry of data into reporting system
Create and maintain documentation for data definitions, including a dictionary, reports, and analysis processes
Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices
Recommend improvements to existing processes based on data insights and collaborating with teams to improve system performance
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Must pass a pre-employment background check and be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
Bachelor's degree in quantitative analysis, information technology, or a related field PLUS Two years’ experience in providing qualitative or quantitative data compilation, analysis, reporting, and database management
Complex Database management experience and manipulation using tools such as SQL, Python or Excel or other data marts to meet user needs
Professional experience using visualization tools, specifically Power BI
Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Strong mathematical skills, data modeling, and proven successful experience to analyze, model, and interpret data
Proven experience managing multiple priorities
Strong effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
Experience using strong interpersonal skills such as collaboration and coordination with various levels of stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and demonstrated ability to use software to prepare management reports and present information.
