About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, own, and evolve detailed finite capacity models across multiple value streams, including SMT, assembly, and testing
  • Conduct advanced scenario modeling to assess and mitigate risks related to demand fluctuations, resource constraints, and new product introductions
  • Analyze capacity utilization, throughput, and efficiency data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Liaise between Technical Operations, Global Planning, suppliers, and leadership to align capacity plans with strategic business objectives
  • Lead capacity planning for new product introductions and factory ramps, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing for operational readiness
  • Communicate capacity risks, trade-offs, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Drive process improvements in capacity planning methodologies, tools, and systems
  • Lead debottlenecking initiatives involving capital investments, shift model changes, and process optimizations
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and industrial engineering methods to optimize factory performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 8+ years in capacity planning, production planning, supply chain, or a related manufacturing operations role
  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment highly desired
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin
  • Expertise in data analysis, modeling, and visualization using tools like Excel and Power BI
  • In-depth understanding of cycle time modeling, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and factory control systems
  • Knowledge of industrial engineering methods, including Lean Six Sigma, takt time design, and time studies
  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics, predictive modeling, or machine learning applications in a manufacturing or supply chain context
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional planning initiatives that deliver measurable business impact
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership
