About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare month-end close by completing assigned close tasks, analyzing P&L fluctuations and preparing journal entries
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
Responsible for accounting tasks related to current and future Asset Backed Securitization transactions specific to GL balance carve out work and documentation, intercompany reconciliation and billing and journal entry preparation
Assist with the completion of the monthly variance analysis used to support reporting monthly results to management
Collaborate with numerous teams to investigate and resolve issues timely and ensure financials are accurate
Help lead the team to make sure tight deadlines are being met
Focused on continuous process improvement and developing efficient ways to support the business
Assist with additional duties or other ad hoc projects as assigned by the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
One to three (1-3) years of accounting experience
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS365 products
Strong analytical skills to define problems, gather relevant data, and draw actionable conclusions
Experience working with Oracle, Salesforce and/or OneStream is a plus
Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
