About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the commercial success of the Metro Dark Fiber portfolio through contributions to pricing, packaging, promotion, and customer targeting strategies
  • Develop and maintain pricing models, analyze market trends, and evaluate competitive positioning to inform pricing and investment decisions
  • Partner with Sales and Go-to-Market teams to enable effective selling, including development of sales tools, product collateral, and customer-facing materials
  • Help define target customer segments, use cases, and value propositions to improve market penetration and win rates
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support product positioning, messaging, and promotional initiatives
  • Translate market, customer, and business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlog items
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations to deliver enhancements that support commercial objectives and customer needs
  • Evaluate and improve product-related processes, systems, and workflows across the customer lifecycle (e.g., quoting, ordering, delivery, support)
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in product operations and partner with internal teams to implement scalable improvements
  • Support training and enablement for internal teams (e.g., Sales, Operations) to ensure consistent understanding and effective delivery of product offerings
  • Define and track key metrics across product performance and customer experience, using data to drive continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment and effective execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in product management, product marketing, pricing, business operations, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in pricing, financial modeling, market analysis, or performance measurement
  • Experience supporting go-to-market activities, including sales enablement, customer segmentation, or product positioning
  • Familiarity with process improvement, operational workflows, or systems that support the product lifecycle (e.g., quoting, ordering, CRM)
  • Ability to use data to identify issues, measure performance, and drive process or product improvements
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, or similar) is a plus
  • Experience in telecommunications, networking, infrastructure, or B2B services preferred
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce (SFDC), CRM platforms, or analytics tools is a plus
  • MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., Product, Agile, Process Improvement) are a plus
