About the role

  • Define and own the partnership strategy.
  • Drive revenue and exceed targets through partner-led customer acquisition.
  • Recruit, negotiate, and manage key relationships with accelerators, VCs, PEs, and ecosystem partners.
  • Create offers, incentives, enablement, and marketing campaigns that accelerate adoption of Zapier among the partners members and portfolio companies.
  • Define, execute, and oversee all phases of the partner lifecycle.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and other functions to align GTM motions.
  • Establish reporting, ROI tracking, and performance dashboards.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales, with proven experience working with VC, PE, accelerators, or startup programs.
  • You’ve owned quotas and delivered multi-million dollar results through partner-led pipeline generation, co-selling, and adoption programs.
  • You design workflows, automate reporting, build agents, and create playbooks with AI tools.
  • Cultivated C-level relationships across VCs, accelerators, ecosystem partners, and enterprise customers.
  • Thrive at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Marketing, RevOps, Pricing & Packaging, and Support.
  • Can set the long-term vision for investor and startup partnerships while rolling up sleeves to design offers, craft marketing campaigns, or negotiate deals.
  • Proactively balance multiple initiatives and evolve approaches based on data.
  • Establish metrics, set goals, measure outcomes, and iterate based on performance insights.
  • Translate complex opportunities into clear narratives for executives, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Motivated by building new models, scaling new categories, and creating playbooks that lead to expansion and growth.
