About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Zapier's Enterprise Governance bet.
- Own the org’s technical point of view on identity, access, audit, and policy.
- Make the staffing and investment trade-off calls across initiatives.
- Own the technical roadmap for the systems that let enterprises govern AI.
- Define what safe, accountable AI-native engineering practice looks like.
- Identify and implement AI-powered tooling that accelerates your teams' delivery velocity and quality.
- Be accountable for the reliability of Zapier's identity, audit, and admin infrastructure.
- Build bench strength and resilience across critical systems as the team grows.
- Partner directly with Sales and Customer Success.
- Take ownership by default on cross-org technical initiatives.
- Build on and further develop the strong enterprise engineering organization.
- Ensure managers and ICs have clear growth paths and feedback they need to improve.
