About the role

  • Own R&D financial planning and analysis
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for R&D spend
  • Build and maintain models explaining cloud costs and key usage drivers
  • Evaluate and track AI-related spend
  • Drive strategic insights for R&D leadership
  • Develop scalable, decision-ready models
  • Support executive and board-level reporting
  • Improve tools, processes, and data quality

Requirements

  • 4+ years of FP&A-specific experience
  • Background in Big 4 Accounting, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting
  • Experience building bottoms up and high level financial models
  • Understanding of how modern R&D organizations operate
  • Initiative and thrive in ambiguity
  • Love for data and SQL experience is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Comfortable driving cross-functional alignment
  • Ability to experiment with AI.
