About the role
- Own Zapier’s third-party event ecosystem
- Develop and manage the annual third-party event and sponsorship strategy.
- Evaluate event opportunities based on various criteria.
- Negotiate sponsorships and build activation plans.
- Create repeatable playbooks for various internal teams.
- Build a partner event enablement program in partnership with Partner Marketing.
- Define success metrics for events and produce pre and post-event briefs.
- Collaborate with Sales, PMM, Brand, RevOps, and Partnerships for alignment.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or partner marketing experience in a B2B/enterprise environment.
- Deep experience owning third-party event strategy, from evaluating opportunities and negotiating sponsorships to designing presence and leading on-site orchestration.
- Comfortable partnering with Sales and RevOps to connect activity to outcomes.
- Ability to identify new opportunities based on market signals, ICP needs, and GTM priorities.
- Exceptional communicator in a remote-first environment.
- Thrives as a high-accountability individual contributor.
